A few steps West, a meditating person sittin on an old pier – and a couple walking slowly on the rocks as if looking for something.

A cheap plastic camera can make decent images !!!
I like the silhouetted people in the first image and the strong light.
At a certain age one is not that nimble anymore and looking down when going over rocks is a must. I like the pic because of the calm mood and the great tonality.

You are right, I pay more attention to the ground I step on than to the tings around me. But that couple seemed to be looking for something…

Yes, they look very much like it. Maybe something that slipped from a pocket or bag like a key. Or they are hunting for “treasueres” or looking for nice looking stones the river washed onto the banks.
